Jofra Archer is another player who has emerged from this wonderful tournament in Australia. He was always there for his team Hobart Hurricanes with the ball and on the field. He plucked a few brilliant catches to cap off his prowess with his bowling. Rajasthan Royals managed yet another signing of BBL in the auction and will pay him a sensational amount of Rs 7.2 Crore to feature in the eleventh edition of the cricketing festival in India.

Archer played all the 12 matches for Hurricanes and picked 16 wickets also becoming one of the only seven bowlers to bowl a maiden. His bowling average was fantastic at 23.06 and a strike rate of 17.3 proves the way he bowled throughout the last seven weeks. Unfortunately, he couldn’t replicate a magical performance in the final and had to contend with the runners-up tag. But he would love to win the IPL now for Royals as they are also hunting for their second title after winning it in 2008.
