5. Billy Stanlake (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

Billy Stanlake is amongst the tallest international cricketers in Australia and this is what helps him in his bowling stride. He has the ability to bowl at over 150kph and with the same, he bamboozled New Zealand batsmen in the first T20I of the tri-series on Saturday. His figures of 3/15 at the top also earned him the player of the match award. Sunrisers Hyderabad signed him on his base price of Rs 50 Lakhs and is there only overseas fast bowler in the whole squad.

Though Stanlake couldn’t feature for Adelaide Strikers in the knockouts, he played for them in the first 10 games picking 11 wickets conceding runs only at 6.47 per over. SRH would surely benefit from his presence and has a chance to play a few games following his excellent performance in the BBL and for Australia. Stanlake also will learn more and come out of the IPL as a better bowler.
