3. Azhar Zaidi:

Karachi-born all-rounder Azhar Zaidi picked up wickets at will with his slow left-arm orthodox in this edition of BPL. Zaidi, playing for the Comilla Victorians, scalped 17 wickets in the season with 4/11 against Riders, a match where he conceded less than 3 runs an over, as his best figures. Zaidi bowled with the best economy rate in the tournament and did not leak any runs as he conceded just 4.78 per over. He picked up a wicket at an average of 10.41 and a striking rate of 13. The Sussex all-rounder was one of the bowling highlights of this season of BPL. He finished being 5th on the leading wicket takers list for this season.
