5 Best knocks of Younis Khan

5. 267 v India at Bangalore, 2005:
Pakistan had a horrible series down under in the year 2004-05 where they suffered a 3-0 whitewash. Younis Khan, was, however, the top run-getter for the team there. He was appointed as the vice-captain of the side for the tour to India. He had a rather forgettable start to the series in the first two Test matches. Pakistan were 1-0 down in the series when they stepped in the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Opting to bat first, Pakistan ended the first day at 323-2 with Younis Khan batting on 127* and Inzamam-Ul-Haq on 184*. While Inzy couldn’t add anything to his score on the next day, Younis went on to score 267, his highest individual score back then. Before being dismissed by Harbhajan Singh, he had already spent about 690 minutes at the crease and struck 32 boundaries and a maximum. Pakistan were bowled out for 570 in the first innings. They went on to win the match by 168 runs and levelled the 3-match series 1-1. Younis Khan was adjudged as the Man of the Match. This is perhaps one of the greatest knocks that he cherishes.
