1) Aditya Tare’s cry of victory
The defending champions- Mumbai Indians ramped onto the playoffs of IPL 2014 after clinching a record-breaking victory against Rajasthan Royals during the, in what turned out to be a do-or-die contest for both the sides. A power-packed performance by Corey Anderson guided Mumbai Indians home under 15 overs but it was their wicket-keeper batsman Aditya Tare who unleashed his best.
Tare smashed a full-toss off James Faulkner for a six to take them home in the dying minutes. The six was followed by some unreal celebration, where Tare was seen expressing his joy with a victory run, as the mentor of the Rajasthan Royals, Rahul Dravid threw his cap hard on the ground, a sight we haven’t seen too often from the wise man.
