2. Dwayne Bravo’s unique dance celebration
West Indies cricketers are known for their unique style of celebration along with their power-hitting game, and Dwayne Bravo is one of them. The 38-year-old is a really energetic player and brings his own swag to the field. Bravo has a style of dancing in a typical West Indian manner whenever he takes a wicket or a catch.
The veteran all-rounder came up with a unique wicket-taking celebration during the IPL 2022 season opener after dismissing KKR’s Venkatesh Iyer for 16 runs. He came into action in the 7th over and provided CSK with a much-needed breakthrough off the second ball of the over. Iyer went on to drive but failed to play in the middle of the bat as he handed a simple catch to MS Dhoni behind the stumps.
After taking the wicket, Bravo started dancing with an outstretched right hand, rotating the index finger and also swinging the hips with the right hand. The celebration is a hook step from his latest song named ‘Number One” which was released a day before the opening game of IPL 2022.
