Dean Jones doesn’t have a long coaching history, unlike his competitors who feature in the list. Jones, however, had a long eventful international career, especially as an ODI cricketer. He was a typical modern day cricketer who was known for his brash brand of batting. He had attracted a fair bit of controversies during his playing time as well during his commentary stint after his retirement. He forayed into coaching and mentoring after he was signed as the head coach of the Islamabad United in Pakistan Super League (PSL) in 2016. His time with the team was fruitful as Islamabad became the inaugural champions.
