Former Australian all-rounder Tom Moody was a wonderful cricketer during his time and later earned a good reputation as an international coach. After retiring in 2000, Moody turned to administration before taking up coaching. Initially, he served as the president of the Australian Cricketers’ Association as the director of cricket at his former county side Worcestershire. He hit headlines in 2005 after his names started doing rounds for the Indian coaching job. However, he was later appointed as Sri Lanka’s coach. Moody had a very productive term with Sri Lanka. Under his helm, the Lankan side reached the 2007 World Cup final. Moody currently is the coach of Western Australia and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League.
