CT IPL Flashback: 5 forgotten Indian players in the IPL
#3) Swapnil Asnodkar
The right-handed Asnodkar shook the world his tremendous power hitting for the Rajasthan Royals. The Goa player, however, was left by the franchise after a successful season where he went on to amass 311 runs for the Royals at an impressive average of 34.55 with a strike-rate of 133.47.
He shared 418 runs with his fellow opener and the then South African captain Graeme Smith at an average of 59.18 for the first wicket. His fearless strokeplay led him into the team, and from then things started to fade out slowly but steadily.
