2. Nathan Coulter-Nile vs WI 2019

Here we have an Australian on the list. It is the bowling all-rounder Nathan Coulter-Nile who bailed the Aussies out from a disastrous situation. Australia was facing the Windies who were coming into the match following a thunderous performance against Pakistan, bowling them out at a total near 100.

The Caribbean bowlers started repeating their performance from the previous match. They reduced Australia to a score of 38-4 within the first 8 overs. Australia stabilized a bit after that but was still in a tough position at 147-6 when Coulter-Nile stepped in.

He then played match-winning innings, scoring 92 runs off just 60 balls, carrying Australia to a concrete total of 288. He was the highest scorer in the Australian innings with the second-best innings coming from Steve Smith who scored 73. Of course, none expected Coulter-Nile to be the top scorer.
