BJP’s success in the last few years can largely be attributed to Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. Almost single-handedly, they have been running the party as well as the government. Many unfamiliar faces, who got a BJP ticket for the elections, managed to win it because of this force that he behind them. They have always self-motivated and charged themselves being the alpha in the group and showing others the way.

While this characteristic can be associated with Virat Kohli, you can’t completely attribute that to him. A few losses on the trot often stoops his confidence. While he hasn’t had to face something of this sorts often with the Indian team, he’s got to be prepared for it. He failed to inspire his troops when they were down in the recent ODI series against Australia. Similar was the case with RCB where they weren’t able to do much until Dale Steyn walked in and changed the outlook of things.

Both Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni, the other leaders in this group, aren’t someone who show their emotions much and charge up individuals. Thus, it will be the responsibility of Virat and head coach Ravi Shastri to do the same with the India team as what the Modi-Amit duo did to the BJP. Both these individuals have got some infectious energy and can inspire people with their words. Hence, it is crucial for them to charge themselves up in tough times and motivate others as well.
