Narendra Modi is one of those Prime Ministers who is known to have taken some bold chances during his first tenure. Irrespective of the results and the other fears, he didn’t back off from taking the demonetization and GST calls. Moreover, he was brave enough to conduct two surgical strikes. All this has helped him during his campaign and helped him impress the voters.

While this cannot be a direct context with reference to the World Cup, similarities can still be drawn. Kohli can trust his gut feeling and instincts to make bowling changes and changes in the batting order as well. Sometimes in tough situations, it might help bail his team out and register a possible victory. The team needs to work hard on delivering the expectations of the people and should learn from the mistakes sooner than later.
