5 Personal milestones MS Dhoni missed after taking international retirement
The captain cool had enough under his belt in all these years, and he left the field with all the satisfaction.
4. 200 International Stumpings
When people around the world say MS Dhoni hit the stumps with lightning-fast speed, there has to be a reason behind it. He also has the record of hitting the stumps on 123 occasions in ODIs, the highest by any wicket-keeper in the world in the same format.
However, he has a total of 195 international stumpings. If the hero would have played a few more matches, 200 stumpings would have been an easy catch for him. In the ODI format, the wicket-keepers that follow him in the same list are Kumar Sangakkara and Romesh Kaluwitharana.
There have been incidents on the field when a batsman didn’t even understand what happened and MS Dhoni was there, making appeals in front of the umpire. This was his pace, this was his accuracy, and this was his consistency which came handy for the team for all the years he graced the cricked field.
