5 Players to watch out for in the India v Bangladesh Test
2. Wriddhiman Saha
Wriddhiman Saha has been one of the most consistent domestic performers in the Ranji Trophy over the years. His solid gameplay for Bengal earned him a lot of fans but the 32-year-old from Siliguri was never offered at the International level because of MS Dhoni’s presence as a wicketkeeper-batsman.
The talented batsman delivered consistent performances with the willow and was tidy with the gloves which an indication that the man from Bengal is indeed ready to step up and prove his caliber on the big stage. The series against Bangladesh will be another opportunity for him to cement his position his position in the side.
Saha’s ability to stitch crucial partnerships and lead the innings with a mature knock in the case of early breakthroughs will be a necessity if Shakib successfully works his magic in the middle overs.
