4. T Natarajan
It won’t be wrong to say that T Natarajan was the story of the 2020 cricket calendar. The pace merchant ruled the game of cricket with his pin-point and toe-crushing yorkers. Natarajan’s dream journey began during the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League as he managed to grab all the limelight while plying his trade for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The left-arm seamer was rightly called the ‘Yorker King’.
Impressive performance in IPL 2020 resulted in Natarajan making his debut for India in Australia in the third One Day International of the three-match series against Australia. The 30-year-old then played all the three T20 Internationals against Australia and also made his Test debut on the same tour in the last Test of the four-match series.
The Tamil Nadu Stalwart is now a renowned name and will be one of the superstars to go under the hammer before IPL 2022. SRH is likely to retain Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Considering the dearth of good pacers especially the left-arm seamers, one shouldn’t be surprised if Natarajan attracts bids from almost all the teams.
