Andile Phehlukwayo has been more than a handy all-rounder for South Africa, especially in the limited-overs formats. The Durban-born isn’t someone, who grabs the limelight with his brash style of cricket. But when it comes to effectiveness, the 23-year-old has stepped up time and again for the Proteas nationals.

In the 2019 World Cup, he picked 11 wickets and also scored 133 runs at 33.25. He hasn’t been effective with the ball in domestic T20Is, but his numbers at the highest level is much better. In 23 games for South Africa, Phehlukwayo has 29 wickets at an economy of 7.87.

Though he doesn’t have a T20 half-century to his name, he has a combined tally of 10 fifties in first-class and List A cricket. Andile’s only international fifty came versus Pakistan at the Kingsmead in Durban.
