“Virushka ki Wedding” was the hashtag which took the Internet by a storm and people just couldn’t stop crushing over their lavish wedding. Indian skipper Virat Kohli and popular Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who have been dating for a long period of time, finally tied the knot in a very secretive, yet lucrative ceremony in Italy.

Not many saw this coming despite media reports emerging regularly. All the rumours were hypothetical and people didn’t believe it until both Anushka and Virat confirmed it. Their duo indeed looks adorable together and no wonder people are drooling over them so badly. Kohli is currently on a personal leave and will be joining team India directly for the South Africa tour.

The wedding was a very private affair and only both bride and the groom’s families and close friends were present. A reception will be hosted for all the celebrities and friends of Virat and Anushka in Delhi and Mumbai and the event is definitely going to break the Internet.

Whilst their wedding is set to remain a hot topic for another week or so, a few popular cricketers haven’t conveyed their wishes to the couple as yet. Here are the five popular Indian cricketers who are yet to send their blessings to the new power couple.

5. Mahendra Singh Dhoni

The former Indian skipper MS Dhoni has been busy off-late trying to prove the critics wrong. He has been under the scanner after a string of low scores in recent times, but he struck form in a crucial moment when India was struggling at 29/7 at Dharamshala. But Dhoni not wishing the couple on social media is really shocking because both of them have always maintained a great relationship on and off the field.

There is a certain possibility Dhoni would’ve talked to them given he is not very social media savvy.

4. Ravi Shastri

The head coach of Indian cricket team, who many believe was appointed by Virat rather than BCCI, is another big name who didn’t wish the couple. There were a lot of trolls on social media when the Indian batting line-up stumbled at Dharamshala where Shastri ordered him to back with the team keeping the wedding aside. These both have always maintained a good rapport and a hectic schedule might be one of the reasons behind this happening.

3. Yuvraj Singh

Just one day after their wedding, Yuvraj Singh celebrated his 36th birthday. Twitter and Instagram were flooding with good wishes for both Kohli and Yuvraj but interestingly, both of them didn’t wish each other. The legendary southpaw was very active those two days on social media and to not wish one of his very good mates is something no one saw coming.

2. Virender Sehwag

One of the uncrowned kings of humorous Tweets, Virender Sehwag not wishing Kohli and Anushka is completely unbelievable. The swashbuckling opener spent a lot of time with Kohli as they hail from the same city of Delhi and they played for the national side together for a good 4-5 years. It is really hard to understand why this happened but maybe, he must’ve wished the duo personally.

1. Anil Kumble

One name that barely comes as a surprise is that of Anil Kumble. The Kumble-Kohli fiasco took the cricketing world by a storm and everyone were left in splits. The apparent headmasterly attitude of Kumble didn’t go well with Kohli and it eventually led to the sacking of the former Indian captain. Kohli was trolled brutally for not wishing Kumble on his birthday and it is a clear indication that they don’t share a harmonious relation anymore.
