<p>The 37-year-old Australian all-rounder Daniel Christian was in red-hot form in the just-concluded 2020-21 edition of the Big Bash League. He scored 272 runs and scalped 15 wickets in 16 matches of the BBL 2020-21. This resulted in the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (<strong><a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-auction-2021-rcb-reveals-the-reason-behind-not-going-for-steve-smith-after-placing-the-opening-bid/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">RCB</a></strong>) going behind the all-rounder during the IPL auction for the upcoming 2021 edition of the T20 Championship.</p>
<p>The Bangalore outfit managed to include the Australian veteran in their squad for a staggering amount of INR 4.8 crores. Christian was also in decent form in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He featured in 5 games thus far for Karachi Kings, who are topping the table after winning three out of five games.</p>
<p>Dan scalped four wickets in five games at an economy rate of 10.86. He also has 55 runs under his belt in three innings at an average of 55 and a stunning strike rate of 196.42.</p>
