6. N Jagadeesan hitting five centuries in a single Vijay Hazare Trophy season

Narayan Jagadeesan is one of the top names in the Indian domestic cricket. Clearly, the talent hasn't yet converted at the top level but it seems only a matter of time for him to make it to the Indian team. Jagadeesan has made his bat do the talking in the 2022-23 season of Vijay Hazare Trophy scoring five consecutive tons.

Moreover, against Arunachal Pradesh he smashed a sensational double-century while stitching a brilliant triple century opening stand with B Sai Sudharshan. His last four scores read - 114*, 107, 168, 128 and he is yet to get out against Arunachal.

Jagadeesan, 26, would feel unlucky to not have got a chance yet at the international level but certainly his performance this season will make the selectors take note.
