5. Highest sixes in ODI Cricket for India
The reason why Rohit is considered such a dangerous batsman is his ability to hit sixes at will. He has hit the second-most sixes ever (16) in an ODI inning against Australia at the Chinnaswamy stadium in 2013 while scoring his first double-hundred.
He has now hit the most number of sixes ever by an Indian surpassing MS Dhoni’s record and currently stands at 232 hits over the ropes and is at the 4th position in all-time most sixes record. He is also the leader of the most number of sixes hit in the history of T20I Cricket, even ahead of the ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle himself.
Virat Kohli, on the other hand, relies more on hitting fours and keeping the ball on the ground rather than hitting it in the air. His game is more based on picking singles and converting ones into twos and hence is far behind Rohit’s tally with 120 sixes so far in his ODI career.
