5 Tips for Skipper MS Dhoni from an Indian Cricket Team Fan
5 Tips for Skipper MS Dhoni from an Indian Cricket Team Fan: The day has finally arrived for which we all have been waiting for a week now. Defending Champions India take on the home side Australia in the semi-finals of the 2015 World Cup at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
But it seems Aussies will have the advantage of their home ground, as various sources claim that Swamy army will outnumber the team gold supporters at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Various sources claim that 70% of the tickets have been bought by Indian fans, as the desperation of home team captain Michael Clarke and their opener could be seen on social networking website Twitter. They were urging the home team supporters to paint the SCG with gold colours on Thursday because they know that SCG will bleed blue because of the sheer number of Indian supporters there.

Now lets see what Indian Captain MS Dhoni should do right to lead his side all the way to the final on Sunday.
1. First Blood
Indian bowlers need to make sure that they take the first wicket early in the innings to put the kangaroos under pressure.
2. Ravindra ‘Jaddu’ Jadeja Factor
Australia don’t have too many left-handed batsman in their team and it will bring some smile on the face of Indian spinner Jadeja. To add to that, it has been said that SCG pitch is spin friendly, which seriously won’t please Australian Captain Clarke who was voting to have grass been left on the pitch to assist the Australian pace attack.
3. Ashwin Factor
India’s top spinner in this world cup, Ashwin is the big difference between both the teams as he is a top class spinner. Australia don’t have any top class spinner barring Maxwell, who considers himself as the top spinner of his side. So Dhoni must introduce Ashwin early to make in roads into Australian batting. Also Dhoni can use him during batting power play as Aussie batsman may try to hit him during that phase and they may get tangled in his web of spin.
4. Power Plays
Indian team need to make sure that they don’t lose early wickets and should hope that Rohit ‘Hitman’ Sharma and Shikhar ‘Gabbar’ Dhawan give India a good start and lay an ideal platform for the likes of Kohli and Raina to come and play their strokes freely.
5. Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav
As we saw in last match how Australian top order struggled against Pakistani bowler Wahab Riaz’s pace and bounce especially Watson. Shami and Yadav both bowl at good pace and they should target their top order with bouncers just like Wahab did.
Here’s wishing Team India and skipper Dhoni best of luck for their fixture against Australia.
