Ravindra Jadeja and Sarah Taylor’s awkward conversation
This may come as a surprise as to what conversation Ravindra Jadeja and Sarah Taylor might’ve had. However, back in 2014, they did have a pretty awkward and weird chat on Twitter. While one was direct messaging, the other was conserving by tweeting out through mentions.
This incident broke out after the 2014 World T20 in Bangladesh. India lost the men’s final while England lost in the women’s final. Hence, Jadeja had sent Taylor a message on Twitter after her team’s loss against Australia. With Jadeja not following Taylor, the England’s wicket-keeper bat was unable to reply to the DM. However, she mentioned him in her tweets and continued the conversation.
The two were talking about their respective team’s performances. However, the conversation became weird and awkward as Taylor’s tweets were seen by everyone and the England wicket-keeper noticed that. She asked the Indian all-rounder to follow her but then left the decision to him. However, in the end, the two of them decided to meet next morning by the pool.
@imjadeja thank you. And you 🙂
