Rahul Tewatia was very impressive in the seasons he played for Rajasthan Royals. However, Tewatia is picked by Gujarat Titans to play the 2022 season for them. Rahul is a left-hand aggressive batter from Haryana, who has also bowled good leg spin. He has executed some quality performances for the Jaipur-based franchise as well as Haryana.

The 28-year-old has played 48 IPL games and has scored 521 runs and has picked 32 wickets. He had already received the call for the Indian Cricket Team for the home series against England in 2021 but he got ruled out because of his niggle. Gujarat Titans had no second thoughts while bidding for him and they successfully managed to get him in their squad.

Tewatia has scored 484 runs in 21 List A matches and has 27 dismissals to his name. He has played seven FC games for Haryana and has 190 runs to his name with 17 wickets. Rahul’s gameplay suits the 20-ver format the most. He has been a vital cog for Haryana in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the last few years. Now, he will have to perform nicely and convince the selector to pick him.
