Which young cricketer wouldn’t dream of getting an opportunity at the IPL? In the world of T20 leagues, it is one of the biggest platforms one can get. Both in terms of viewership and in terms of rubbing shoulders with some of the finest in the business, the IPL is huge for an uncapped player. Every year, there are a huge number of uncapped cricketers who register themselves for the IPL auction.

However, some of them are unlucky and go unsold. A few others get picked but don’t get an opportunity to play a game. On the other hand, there is a young crop of cricketers who would have registered themselves for the IPL 2020 auction. All in all, there are a few uncapped players who will have a go at the IPL auction once again and this time will fancy getting an opportunity.

Here are five players who might get big bids in IPL 2020 auction:

Many of you might not be familiar with Australia’s off-break bowler Chris Green. The South Africa-born has made quite a name for himself in the shortest format with his bowling heroics. Chris is a highly accurate customer and bowls tight lines and lengths.

He might not be one of those bowlers who picks up a lot of wickets. But Green’s speciality is to keep things tight from one end and build pressure on the batsmen in the middle overs. He has featured in 75 T20 games thus far in his career and picked up 62 wickets.

However, his economy rate of 6.72 stands out. Green has got the experience of playing in the T20 Blast, CPL, BBL, PSL and a few other leagues. Although not the best in the business with the bat, the off-spinner can strike a few lusty blows.
