These days the saying ‘Lions at home, Lambs abroad’ has become a very common phenomena. The Indian pitches are very different to African pitches which are fast and lively. Generally in India, the pitches are slow and the ball doesn’t come on to the bat as well as it comes on African pitches. The Protean batsmen use the pace of the bowlers well so playing T20I series in India before the World T20 will help them to get used to the pitches which are exactly opposite. When they will return to India next year, things can get easy if they utilize this T20I series to the very best. For spinners, it would be more about finding immaculate line and lengths and not to get overawed by the spinner friendly conditions in India. Pacers will have an uphill task in hand, so they have to learn the art of making the best use of the given conditions in India for their beneficiary in World T20 2016.
