5 Youngsters who made it to the Indian team for Australian tour

The Indian team for the Australia tour that is scheduled to kick off on January 12 was announced by the BCCI on Saturday. The BCCI panel of selectors met in New Delhi to pick the T20I and the ODI squads. India will play Australia in 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is during the tour. While the core of the team remained the same, a few youngsters have been added in both ODI and T20I teams. Players like Yuvraj Singh and Ashish Nehra would be staging their comeback too. One of the key highlights of the team selection was the inclusion of new players who have been on the fringes of their National debuts for quite some time. “This Aus tour will give selectors a chance to take a look at other players,” quoted Sandeep Patil. Pandey was in the Indian ODI side that toured Zimbabwe in July this year, but couldn’t find a place in the team for the South African series. Gurkeerat Singh Mann: Gurkeerat Singh Mann. He has retained his place in the squad for the Australian tour. The all-rounder from Punjab, who has the highest score of 108 in List A matches, is a handy player to have in the team. 3. With 53 List A games to his name, Dhawan recently scored an unbeaten 117 against Madhya Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He has 1070 runs with an average of over 39 in List A games and also 70 wickets in List A career. 4. Brainder Sran: Brainder Sran.
