‘6 months on.... Not divorced’ – England’s Lauren Winfield’s cheeky post for partner Courtney Hill
The duo tied the knots after Winfield played in the 2020 Women's T20 World Cup.
Back in March 2020, England women’s cricketer Lauren Winfield tied the knots with Courtney Hill, the Leeds Rhinos star. The wedding took place following a picturesque ceremony in Australia after the conclusion of the women’s T20 World Cup where England bowed out after their abandoned semi-final against India didn’t allow them to qualify for the final against the Aussies.
The marriage ceremony was attended by a number of Winfield’s teammates, including Katherine Brunt, Tammy Beaumont, skipper Heather Knight, Natalie Sciver and Alex Hartley. Thereafter, the 30-year-old Winfield and Hill went to the Fraser Island for their honeymoon and also posted some pictures from their travel.
In the meantime, six months down the line after their wedding, Winfield had a hilarious message for her partner. The York-born posted a picture from their marriage after six months of their camaraderie completed. She captioned the picture and wrote, “6 months on…. Not divorced. Well done us @corka22.”

Lauren Winfield- A crucial member of England women’s team
Back in July 2013, Winfield made her debut against Pakistan Women in Louth during an ODI series and in the same month, she made her T20I debut as well. Ever since then, she has been a consistent member of the women’s team. In 42 ODIs and 40 T20Is, Lauren has 892 and 552 runs respectively with a century and three fifties to show for her efforts.
The ton she notched came against Pakistan at Worcester back in June 2016. There she scored 123 off 117 balls, opening the batting, with the help of 15 fours and two sixes. England won the game by a mammoth 212 runs after posting 378 for five courtesy Winfield’s masterclass. She has also played three Tests, scoring 94 runs at an average of 15.66.
In the T20 WC, she played three games against Pakistan, Thailand and South Africa. But she didn’t get many chances to bat. She recently played a couple of matches for Northern Diamonds in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy. Against Central Sparks, she scored 72 off 71 with the help of nine fours and two sixes. The knock helped her team win by nine wickets with 25.5 overs to spare.
