Sydney Sixers vaunts for the highest win percentage in the Champions League– a complete 100. Sixers were unbeaten in the 2012 edition and won the title by beating Highveld Lions by 10 wickets in the final. Mitchell Starc was the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 14 wickets in 6 matches.

The Sixers currently have made their way into the final of the Big Bash 2019-20 and finished second on the points table. Wicket-keeper opener Josh Phillippe is in a tremendous form in the Big Bash scoring 435 runs at an average of 36 including 4 fifties (before the finals). English all-rounder Tom Curran before departing for England picked up 22 wickets in 14 games for the Sixers.

Sixers won the first edition of Big Bash League in the 2011-12 season. They won the Champions league in 2012 but failed to qualify for the subsequent seasons. If the Champions League is to be held again, the Moises Henriques-led side will certainly be amongst the title contenders.
