A good win always demands a better celebration and the Royal Challengers Bangalore just pranced to their heart’s content as David Willey penned the latest RCB team song, setting the dressing room abuzz with joy and laughter.

It was captain Faf du Plessis, who requested the all-rounder to write something that would make the team buzz together from the murkiest of times to the joys and laughter. The skipper would smile broadly, saying that it was the debut of the RCB team song and it felt that it was way off the tune charts.

However, he was okay with it because this was just the beginning and things are going to get better and better. He wanted to ensure that the successes are being celebrated in the loudest of roars. He was always hoping for a lot of energy and was seen in RCB’s latest video, playing the conductor to the noisy orchestra.

Just in case, if you want to come together in unison, singing the song in the loudest of roars, here are the lyrics for you:

The pants are red

The shirt is blue

The golden lion shining through

We’re RCB

We’re playing bold

Go to the final

On our own

A finer kit you’ll never see

A finer team there’ll never be

Those other teams don’t bother me

From RCB I’m proud to be

A finer kit you’ll never see

A finer team there’ll never be

Those other teams don’t bother me

I’m proud to be from…. RCB, RCB, RCB!!

BTS of the RCB anthem:

RCB players were seen singing the anthem while celebrating their victory over Rajasthan Royals in their previous game.

“It’s the first night of the team song. Probably very out of rhythm. But that’s okay, it’s just about celebrating our success. A night like tonight (Tuesday) is something that’s worth celebration. There is a lot of energy, a lot of fun and we’ll mess it up but we’ll get better and better,” du Plessis said.
