A large amount of blood was found in Shane Warne’s room: Thailand Police

When the CPR procedure was started, Warne had reportedly coughed a lot of liquid and was bleeding.

Australian cricket legend Shane Warne passed away on 4th March 2022 in Thailand. Tributes have still been pouring in for the iconic leg spinner from all parts of the cricketing world.

And now, the Thailand police have revealed that Warne had gone and visited a doctor to discuss about his heart issues. But, the Police have still not zeroed in on the exact cause of death.

Mr Yuttana from the Thai Police said that what happens next is based on what the doctors say with respect to the case. “I am not sure as it depends on the doctor’s opinion,” said Yuttana.

Also, the commander of the provincial police, Satit Polpinit said that blood was found in Warne’s room, and when the CPR procedure was started, Warne had even coughed a lot of liquid and was bleeding.

“A large amount of blood was found in the room. When CPR was started, the deceased had coughed up liquid and was bleeding,” said Satit Polpinit as quoted by skynews.com.au.

Also, Allan McKinnon, who is the Australian ambassador to Thailand said that he wants to thank the Thai Police for helping in getting Warne back to Australia quickly.

“I’m here on behalf of Shane Warne’s family and his travelling companions to thank Superintendent Yuttana and his team here at the Bo Phun Police Station and the hospital in Koh Samui for facilitating this process and getting Shane Warne back to Australia as quickly as possible. They have been very compassionate, very efficient, and very understanding,” said McKinnon.

Shane Warne is considered as one of the greatest spinners to have played the game, and is the second-highest wicket-taker in Test match cricket, with a staggering 708 wickets to his name in 145 Test matches.
