India will take on West Indies in a two-match T20I series on 27th and 28th of August at Florida, USA. Aakash Chopra, the former Indian cricketer has selected two XIs that he thinks is the best for the visiting team to field.

He had gone with Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma as the openers in his first line-up. Stuart Binny and Ravindra Jadeja down the middle-order are the two all-rounders in the squad. The line-up also had a strong bowling with 3 pacers (Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami) and the off-spin of Ravichandran Ashwin along with the two all-rounders.

In the first squad, he preferred to go with a full fledged bowling attack and also asked in the Tweet that if his batting line-up looks thin.

In the second team, Ajinkya Rahane is the partner for Dhawan in the opening slot and Rohit Sharma will bat at no.4 after Virat Kohli. He also replaced Stuart Binny with KL Rahul, who had a good series against the West Indies and Zimbabwe recently.

He chose the same set of pacers and went ahead with Jadeja and Ashwin as the two spinners spin bowling options in the squad. However, he mentioned the problem with this line-up that none among the top 6 can bowl. So if any bowler goes for runs, skipper MS Dhoni would still be forced to use him for the 4 overs.

Aakash Chopra’s Predicted Eleven – 1:

Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, MS Dhoni (C), Stuart Binny, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami

Aakash Chopra’s Predicted Eleven – 2:

Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, MS Dhoni (C), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami
