Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal surprised the cricket world and his fans by announcing the delightful news of his engagement with YouTuber Dhanashree Verma. The spinner took to his official social media handle to share the pictures of his engagement ceremony with the world.
The congratulatory wishes have been pouring in for the newly engaged couple since then. The cricket fraternity also extended their warm wishes to the couple on this blessed occasion. Former Indian explosive batsman Virender Sehwag also wished the couple in his own funny way.
Earlier, announcing the news of him getting booked for life, Chahal wrote, “We said “Yes” along with our families #rokaceremony.”
Virender Sehwag is quite active on social media and is known for his witty humour. He once again gave an insight into his amusing sense of humour as he congratulated Yuzvendra Chahal with a meme involving the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sehwag tweeted, “Waah @yuzi_chahal! Aapda ko avsar mein badal daala. Congratulations.”

On the professional front, Dhanashree is a Doctor, Choreographer and YouTuber. While Yuzvendra Chahal, on the other hand, would be resuming his cricket duties as the main bowler of IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after a long unexpected break of five months due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to go ahead with the 2020 edition of the cash-rich league from September 19 to November 10 in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
