AB de Villiers gives a perfect response to Kevin Anderson's rematch plea
De Villiers roasts Anderson
Just after South African Tennis star Kevin Anderson asked for a rematch with AB de Villiers, Mr. 360 gave a perfect response to his rematch plea. AB instead challenged Anderson to survive in the match for more than half an hour. Anderson wanted a rematch of the defeat he faced in 1996 against de Villiers when the former was 10 years old while the latter was 12.
Anderson, who is also an ardent cricket fan, expressed his disappointment to see AB de Villiers missing out on the ongoing England-South Africa Test series. The third day of the intriguing Lord’s Test match is scheduled to take place today. Not too far from Lord’s, the Wimbledon Open is taking place where Anderson made it to the final 16 at Wimbledon by overhauling Belgian Ruben Bemelmans 7-6 (7/3), 6-4, 7-6 (7/3). He also admitted his regret to miss out on some red-ball action at Lord’s.
However, AB de Villiers was quick to respond Anderson for his request by claiming that he still has got the guns in the game of Tennis, and it would be a herculean task for Anderson to even survive for more than 30 mins in the match. He also wished him all the luck to progress into the later stages of the esteemed championship.
“A rematch??That’ll be over in 30min! @KAndersonATP all the best with the 4th round will be watching https://m.sport24.co.za/sport24/Tennis/Wimbledon/anderson-dreams-of-rematch-with-ab-de-villiers-20170708 … @Wimbledon” tweeted de Villiers after reading the article from Sport24.

Praising Mr. 360’s court coverage and backhand, Anderson commented, “I played AB at tennis a long time ago. He was 12 and I was 10. He was a good tennis player and he beat me, We keep in touch but I am still waiting for a rematch.I know that Saturday at Lord’s is always a special day but I will have to watch it on TV. I have to keep my priorities and that will be my recovery for the second week.”
