AB de Villiers’ wife Danielle shut down a rude fan who blamed her for his retirement

AB de Villiers may have retired from the game in May of 2018, a shock announcement that left the cricketing world with open mouths given that it was just a year before the World Cup in England and Wales. However, De Villiers’ reason was that there was way too much pressure, he wanted to be able to spend time with family and injuries to justify his decision.

As South Africa implode on the world stage, De Villiers is enjoying some quality time at home with the wife and is happily playing the T20 leagues all around the world. He recently featured in the Indian Premier League for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and had a decent outing. However, one fan couldn’t keep himself from subjecting his frustrations at AB’s wife Danielle who had posted a lovely message on her Instagram with a picture of ABD.

Danielle shared a selfie with her husband and wrote, “I hope you don’t mind that I put down in words… how wonderful life is now that you’re in the world. Much needed the afternoon off with my one and only, confidante and bestie”

One fan didn’t like the post and had the guts to blame her for being the reason why De Villiers is not playing for South Africa in the World Cup. He mentioned that if it was not for her, he would be in the tournament and then said that she ruined his life and broke so many hearts.

Danielle came down hard on the fan and took him to task. She mentioned that yes he would be happy to be playing for the national team in the World Cup. She also warned him sternly to not comment something on their marriage and asked him not to comment on her posts in the future.
