Rohit Sharma has developed a knack of pulling his teammates’ legs on social media. Time and again, the Hitman has been seen having fun at the expense of his teammates on Twitter or Instagram. In the recent past, the likes of Yuvraj Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal were trolled by Rohit. In his latest exploits on social media, Rohit Sharma tried to pull the legs of his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan and fast bowler Ishant Sharma.

Dhawan is currently sidelined with an injury that he sustained while playing for Delhi in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy last month. While he was expected to recover within a week, the injury was more serious than it was initially thought of. He was first ruled out of the T20I series against West Indies before missing the ODI series too. Sanju Samson and Mayank Agarwal replaced him in the T20I and ODI squads respectively.

But the southpaw is now looking set to return to action at the earliest as he has completely recovered. On Saturday, Dhawan took to Instagram to post a selfie of himself and Ishant and confirmed that he has cleared the fitness tests. Shikhar Dhawan is most likely to be back for the T20I series against Islanders, Sri Lanka, which is set to start from the 5th of January 2020.

“Weekend vibes with @ishant.sharma29 Have cleared all the fitness tests and looking forward to go back to the field and play some good cricket,” Dhawan captioned the post.

And while the fans were wishing Dhawan well for his comeback, Rohit decided to have some fun. Reacting to his teammate’s post, Rohit commented, “Absolute zeher.”

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is currently busy playing for India in the ongoing ODI series against West Indies. The three-match series is currently locked at 1-1. Rohit starred with the bat in the second game, scoring 159 to help India draw level in the series. The right-handed batsman will be eyeing the same performance in the series-decider too.
