Famous Indian actor R Madhavan, on Thursday, shared a throwback video of him talking about a childhood memory at a conclave. The video shows the actor talking about the resolution he made as an 8-year-old after his experience of getting an autograph from a national level cricketer left him deeply hurt.
“The idea of getting an autograph, like the rest of my friends, was very exciting to me. I remember walking up to him (national cricketer), and he was sitting there having a conversation (I’m sure) he must have signed some 50 autographs by then,” Madhavan said. Indians are big cricket fans and it can be understood why Madhavan was so eager for the autograph.
“He signed it and gave it back to without even looking at me,” added Madhavan. This clearly hurt him. The actor did not say whether it was right or wrong but this changed how he viewed autographs. He made up his mind that if he ever signed an autograph he will make sure he looks into his/her eyes.
Today, he is one of the famous Indian actors and is loved by his fans for his humility and down to earth nature. We can clearly see how a small incident from one’s childhood can have a great impact on their life. Instead of being upset about it, the Tanu Weds Manu Actor used it to better himself as a human being.
Madhavan was recently trending for sharing his board marks in an attempt to motivate the students. “I got 58% on my board exams. The game has not even started yet my dear friends,” he tweeted. Many famous celebrities came ahead in order to show students how marks do not define where they get in life and the actor did not remain behind.
