Adelaide Test finds Jasprit Bumrah's cutest fan in the stands
Jasprit Bumrah clinched two wickets to his credit in the first innings of the game.
Fans awaited the opening Test of the much-hyped Border Gavaskar trophy with all their hearts, but something terrible was written in fate. Day three of the Adelaide Test saw India touching new lows in the history of Test cricket. It was going all fine till the end of day two when bowlers came up with their A-game to end Australia’s inning on 191 runs. The trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Ravi Ashwin, and Umesh Yadav wreaked havoc on hosts.
However, day three unfolded some horrific show as India just got wrapped up for a mere 36 runs. It turned out to be India’s lowest ever in the purest form of the game and the last time India struggled in this range was in the year 1974. India posted 42 against England and the current day surpassed it as the team fell like a stack of cards in no time. Australia won the game comfortably by eight wickets as there was nothing much left for them to chase.
The little boy from Bharat Army Adelaide cheers for Jasprit Bumrah
Talking a bit away from the game, day two of the Adelaide Test found the cutest spectator in the stands. A small boy named Jiyaan from Bharat Army Adelaide turned out to be Jasprit Bumrah’s biggest and cutest fan. He sat in the stands with chocolate in his hand and screamed Bumrah Bumrah on top of his cute voice. Unable to pronounce the name well, the Kid repeatedly tried to speak Bumrah in his own toddler ways. His video started doing rounds on social media as fans couldn’t escape a smile after his pronunciation.
Australia Test skipper Tim Paine was declared as the player of the match as he played an essential and unbeaten knock of 77 runs on day two of the Test. The hosts are now walking up with a 1-0 lead in the four match series. The Boxing Day Test is next on the card, and that will take place without Virat Kohli’s presence. It will be a thing to watch as to how India turns things in its favour.
