50 – Asghar also became just the fourth player to captain in 50 T20I matches. He has the highest win percentage (81.73) among all the players who have led the national side for at least 10 T20Is.
95 – Rashid Khan picked up 6 wickets in this series at an incredible average of 12.67. With 95 scalps in the shortest format, he has now attained the second spot in the highest T20I wicket-takers list. Rashid surpassed Tim Southee (93) and Shakib Al Hasan (92) during the series.
50 – Rashid featured in his 50th T20I during the second game of the series. He created a new record for picking up the most wickets (95) in the first 50 T20I matches. Earlier, Saeed Ajmal held this record for taking 71 wickets in the first 50 games.
13 – Mohammad Nabi won the player of the match award in the second game, which was his 13th award in the shortest format. He toppled Virat Kohli (12) in the list to grab the first position.
87 – Rahmanullah Gurbaz smashed 87 runs off 45 balls in the first T20I of the series, and hit 6 fours and 7 sixes in his innings. He registered the highest ever T20I score by a wicketkeeper-batsman before turning 20.
3 – Asghar Afghan performed brilliantly with the bat in this series and completed his 1000 T20I runs as captain. He is just the third Asian captain after MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli to cross the 1000-run mark in the 20-over format.
