India and Pakistan will face off against each other on 4th June Edgbaston, Birmingham. Before the gut-wrenching ICC Champions Trophy 2017 clash, both the camps are training hard. Indian team often plays a football match to reduce the stress and get a good exercise. Seeing the sun out here in Birmingham today, they decided to have one such match before the much-awaited mega-match.

Lines were drawn, teams were made. One team will play with the blue practice jerseys, while the other will pull over the orange sweatshirt. The former captain was up against the current, as the past and present locked horns in a fiery match. Former Indian captain who won the previous edition of ICC Champions Trophy, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was named as the captain of the ‘Blue’ team. Consequently, the team was named Dhoni’s Blues.

The current 28-year old Indian skipper and most famous cricketer in the world, Virat Kohli led the ‘Orange’ team. His team was named as Virat’s Oranges. The match involved all the cricketers fancying some football skills and showing off their tricks with the ball.

MS Dhoni’s Blues 3-0 Virat Kohli’s Oranges

But the orange team crumbled in front of the Blue Jersey. While the Indian cricket fans will want Kohli to have a smiling face after the game, he was disappointed today. The former Indian skipper MS Dhoni scored a couple of goals. But humiliation did not end here for Virat Kohli’s Oranges as another veteran player showed up. The experienced all-rounder Yuvraj Singh scored a goal to make the scoreline 3-0.

While they enjoyed the football game in the sun, fans will be hoping for a ‘dry day’ on Sunday. Rain played spoilsport on Friday at Edgbaston when the Blackcaps took on the Aussies. No cricket fan will want such a high-voltage match to be washed out due to nature’s wish.
