Vaas was the premiere Sri-Lankan bowler of his time and his partnership with Muralitharan was puzzling for many batters. Chaminda Vaas holds the best figure in ODIs which reads as 8/19 against Zimbabwe. Vaas always relied on accuracy and his off-stump line posed many tough questions for the batsmen. In 322 ODIs, Vaas grabbed 400 scalps.
