2. Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar has been the most complete batsman of his time and arguably the biggest icon of the sport, the world has ever seen. The Master Blaster had made his ODI debut way back in 1989 and he played his last game in the format in 2012. He was the first player to score a double-century in the Men’s cricket in ODIs.
Sachin played six ODI World Cups from 1992 to 2011 during his illustrious career and also featured in two finals, 2003 and 2011, winning the title finally at his home group at the Wankhede stadium. In 2011, he finally managed to get his hands on the trophy at his home ground in Mumbai. He played 463 ODIs for India, amassing 18426 runs at an average of 44.83 with a massive 49 tons including a double century as well.
