However, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan has termed one of the Indian cricketers a very humble and dignified human being in his latest social media update.
Currently, the Men’s team is enjoying a little break after a hectic IPL season and the Test squad is gearing up for the upcoming Test match against Afghanistan. But the Girls in Blue are in Malaysia plying their trade in the ongoing Asia Cup T20 tournament. The team has done well as usual and have qualified for the final where they will face Bangladesh on Sunday. They have so far won all the editions of the Asia Cup and would be looking to win the title for the seventh time.

Mithali Raj recently became the first Indian cricketer to score 2000 T20 International runs during the Asia Cup. She reached the milestone during his 23-run knock against Sri Lanka as the wishes poured in for the legendary batter. She has now amassed 2015 runs in 75 T20Is at an amazing average of 37.31 and her landmark urged the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan to congratulate her on Twitter.
Both had met during the Kaun Banega Crorepati show hosted by the Amitabh himself and termed Mithali as the most humble and dignified person he has ever met in his message. “Mithali Raj @M_Raj03 becomes the first Indian woman to score 2000 T20 International Cricket runs .. many congratulations and greater glory to you .. was with me on a KBC show, quiet, humble and dignified !!’ his message read.
