Analysis: ICC World T20 2016 team of the tournament

The Australian all-rounder was surprisingly included in the team just about a month prior to the World T20 in the T20 series against India. His made full use of the experience of playing in the Indian conditions and gave a good all-round performance. Watson opened for Australia but did not enjoy any success. His only notable show was the quick fire 21 ball 44 run knock against Pakistan in the do-or-die match at Mohali. However, he did a satisfying job with the ball picking up wickets at crucial moments in the game. He finished with 5 wickets in 4 games at a good economy rate of 7.35.
