Ashes 2017-18: Wine ad tries to troll England openers, the joke falls back on them after Cook's double
The timing of the advertisement seemed to be the most inappropriate one as it was played when Alastair Cook piled up his majestic double in the game.
The ongoing Boxing Day Test between England and Australia has seen some dramatic turnaround of things. For the first time in the Ashes this season, the visitors seem to be in control of the game. By the end of the day 3, they have a handy lead of over 150. With one wicket still in hand and opener Alastair Cook batting at 244, they will hope to add a few more to their total before their bowlers take a crack at the Aussies.
It will only be unfortunate for England if they end up losing or drawing the game from this position. The English side will hope to add another 40 odd runs on the penultimate day to extend their lead to over 200. They will then hope for their bowlers to do the remainder of the job and save some pride in the Ashes this year.

James Taylor spots it:
The juxtaposition of the advertisement was there to be seen for all. It was ironical for the fans to see the advert when Cook was batting at 206 at that moment of time. Former England cricketer, James Taylor, was quick to cite the juxtaposed advert and took to micro blogging site Twitter to share it. He could not stop his laughter at the entire episode.
Here is what he tweeted:
