Athiya Shetty showers love on KL Rahul's latest training pictures ahead of England Tests

KL Rahul is currently in England gearing up for the white-ball series against the home team which is all set to commence on August 04. Though the wicketkeeper-batsman wasn’t involved in the WTC final that India played against New Zealand the last month, he is surely having some quality time in the UK. It was found through common pictures and posts that Rahul’s rumored girlfriend Athiya Shetty is accompanying him on the tour.

The couple shared many common pics, posed for common friends’ pictures and that is how netizens identified that she is with the cricketer. In the latest turn of events, Rahul shared some pictures from his training session and Athiya showered all her love on the post. She just dropped a red heart emoji in the comments section and it garnered thousands of likes.

Rahul’s teammate Yunzvendra Chahal also commented on the pic. It is a known fact that Rahul and Athiya have been rumoured of dating for a long time now though the couple is yet to announce anything officially. In the recent turn of events, the cricketer was also seen posing with Athiya’s brother Ahaan Shetty on the streets of the UK. Earlier, Athiya’s father and senior actor Suniel Shetty was asked about the relationship of his daughter with the cricketer.

Shetty added that it’s better if they only speak about it but they do look good together. The couple has also shared some adorable pictures in the past and has come up with cute social media posts on each other’s birthdays.

Talking about the Karnataka batsman on the professional front, he will be looking up to strengthen his case in the upcoming high-profile clash against England. Though his chances look slim, he must have been working every bit to get into the XI. Recently, India played a warm-up game in Durham against select County XI to get hold of the English playing conditions. Rahul shined upright in the game as he smashed a classy century to showcase his form.
