Australia’s total of 551/3 was the equal 12th largest score at the MCG in Test history and centuries from Adam Voges and Australian captain Steven Smith has flattened up West Indies on Day 2 of the Melbourne Test. Adam Voges and Steven Smith created and broken many records today while West Indies have gone from bad to worst on a good batting wicket in the 3rd session. They were 6 wickets down on 91 runs at the stumps on Day 2.

Darren Bravo has played a typical Test match innings while other batsmen have failed to give him company and looks like this Test match will be over in three days unless Bravo pulls off something special.

2009 – Last time when four Australian batsmen have scored centuries in an innings in Test cricket which was against England in Cardiff. In that match, Ricky Ponting, Simon Katich, Brad Haddin and Marcus North had scored centuries for Australia.

906 – Runs Steven Smith has scored this year in Test cricket in 1st innings which is most by any batsman in 1st innings in Test cricket this year.

7th– Steven Smith became the seventh youngest batsman to score 13 hundreds in Test cricket history. In this match, he completed his 13th century against West Indies.

3rd – Smith became the third youngest batsman to score 13 hundreds in Australian Test cricket history after Don Bradman and Neil Harvey.
