Australia vs India: Virat Kohli urges the Indian crowd to make more noise in Perth
The atmosphere in Perth is excellent at the moment.
The second Test between Australia and India is interestingly poised. After giving away a lead of 43 runs, the Indian bowlers are spitting venom. They have come out all the guns blazing in the final session after Aaron Finch was retired hurt with a blow to his finger at the stroke of Tea. The action in the middle is certainly heated up and these situations spur up the Indian captain Virat Kohli always.
He is constantly cheering his fast bowlers to do well from behind the stumps and is also involved thoroughly in the Test match right from the word go. Kohli batted exceptionally in the first innings to notch up his 25th Test ton and was holding the fort for India even as the other batsmen were finding it difficult to even score runs. But what has spurred him up was the controversial catch from Peter Handscomb which ruled him out.
He wasn’t pleased at all while walking back to the pavilion and soon his team was skittled for 283 as the hosts gained a crucial lead.

Meanwhile, the crowd has sensed that the Indian bowlers are doing so well and are actually not to have Australia five down or so in their second innings. They are cheering the visitors constantly to keep them fresh and encourage them to give their best. Every ball is an event in the Optus Stadium at the moment and the cricket fans have filled more than half of the ground to enjoy the proceedings.
An excellent atmosphere has geed up Virat Kohli as well and he was spotted encouraging the crowd to make more noise to help the bowlers give more than 100 percent. Standing in the slips, the Indian captain was constantly gesturing the crowd to stand behind the team and they weren’t disappointing him as well.
