Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan blessed with a baby girl

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan blessed with a baby girl: Bangladesh cricketer Shakib Al Hasan was on Monday blessed with a beautiful gift as wife Umme Ahmed Shishir delivered a baby girl.

Currently, both mother and the child are in healthy condition. Shakib’s wife Shishir was initially expected to deliver on November 21. But, unexpectedly her condition became critical yesterday following which she was admitted to the hospital. After hearing this news, Shakib also flew for the United States yesterday in the evening midway from the Zimbabwe series.

According to a report in the Daily Star, the baby was delivered at around 2:00 am (Bangladesh time) in the New York, United States.

Both mother and the baby are in good health, said Shakib’s mother Shirin Akhter. The star all-rounder has also reached New York and is now with his family.

Shakib tied the knot with Shishir back on December 12, 2012. It was revealed on July 27 of this that Shishir is going to give birth to their first child. On 26th of last month, Shakib revealed it through his Facebook page that he was going to be father of a ‘Princess’.
