Here is where the Bangladesh cricketers are celebrating Eid
The ODI skipper of Bangladesh, Mashrafe Mortaza, will be celebrating the festival in his native place Narail with family and friends.
The players of the Bangladesh cricket team are very excited to celebrate the festival of Eid-ul-fitr. Muslims all around the world will be celebrating the festival with the sighting of the moon after the 29th day of the month of Ramadan. The cricketers are surely very excited for the festival. As per the reports in bdcrictime.com, most of the players have decided to celebrate the occasion with their family and friends.
The ODI skipper of Bangladesh, Mashrafe Mortaza, will be celebrating the festival in his native place Narail with family and friends. On the other hand, the Test skipper Mushfiqur Rahim is yet to return back to Bangladesh. He had opted to stay back in Europe after the conclusion of the ICC Champions Trophy.
Apparently, there were four players from the national side who did not return to Bangladesh after their exit from the ICC mega event. Meanwhile, opening batsman Soumya Sarkar and premier pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman will be celebrating Eid in Shatkhira. Fellow pacer Rubel Hossain, who recently suffered a jaw injury, will stay in Bagerhat during the festival.
Wedding for Nurul, injury recovery for Rubel
Rubel is expected to be back in action in about 6 weeks. Wicket-keeper batsman Nurul Hasan is in Khulna right now. He is set to get married on June 30 and will surely be looking forward to the festival and his wedding preparations as well. Spin bowler Taijul Islam will stay in Natore and opening batsman Imrul Kayes is set to spend his Eid with family in Meherpur.
Kamrul Islam Rabbi, the talented pace bowler, will be staying in his residence in Barisal. All-rounder batsman and one of the heroes of Bangladesh’s successful campaign in the Champions Trophy, Mahmudullah, will be in Mymensingh region with his close ones. Mosaddek Hossain Saikat will also be in Mymensingh.
