3. Irfan Pathan
The wonder boy of Indian cricket, Irfan Pathan, has seen most things in his career. His unplayable deliveries, big-hitting capability and the ability to swing the new ball made him a popular name. However, later, the all-rounder found himself stuck in the euphoria of what he was actually made for.
The left-hander had to struggle a lot in the latter half of his career. As when the new ball was given to much faster bowlers, the left-hander lost his charm and played as a number seven batsman and the fifth bowler. Finally, he retired from all forms of the game earlier this year in January
However, in the Road Safety World series, 2020, while playing with the various cricket legends, Irfan outshined most of them with his excellent batting ability and exceptional bowling. He looked quite far from finished and if given a chance he can prove his worth again. As the conditions are helpful for the swing bowlers in Australia, adding the veteran all-rounder can be on the list of various teams.
